2) MEMBERS STORY!:
I am honored to own two West Highland Terriers who in the last two and three years respectively have given so much joy.
We were lucky enough to get Jack three years ago from Cardiff and a year later he was followed by Joshua whom we sourced locally in Somerset. By strange chance it turned out that they are cousins both their fathers come from the Ashgate kennels here in Somerset.
Jack is a sensitive fellow who can't even get through a half hour walk without a kiss and and a little cuddle where as Josh is just full of life and would do anything for a ball.
Strange then that during the summer it was Josh who alerted us to Jack's plight in the garden. It was a hot August afternoon and my husband and I were dozing in the conservatory when Josh started acting strangely. He was running in and out of the back door
whining and making a noise that was half barking and half howling.
At first we thought he was hurt but every time we tried to touch him he would run out of the back door we followed him to see Jack in a state of unconsciousness, his jaw was locked tight and he was shaking, Jack was having a seizure bought on by the hot weather.
Thank goodness for Josh he might be the baby but he really looks after Jack
